The itinerary
Your gastronomic adventure begins at the local boulangerie where you'll sample a selection of exquisite traditional pastries. Like with all of the stops on this tour, you'll get insider tips on each delicacy’s history, how it’s made and which regions produce the best.
Calling all chocoholics: there'll be a chance to sample treats from one of the most revered chocolate makers in. If you're lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the chocolate hero himself! For your second dose of sugar heaven, you'll visit one seriously charming boutique selling only one thing…. light-as-feathers meringues coated filled with heavenly delicious flavors.
Then you’ll explore the local pedestrian shopping street where you can find the best delicacy stores of the neighbourhood and learn how to select produce like Parisian do! Next will be a merchant dedicated to the southwest of France and its world-renowned foie gras, cured meats, and tapenades. Your guide will be there to point out the characteristics of each region as they melt in your mouth one by one.
A lovely cheese shop owner will regale you with a generous dose of lactose luxury as you learn about regional cheeses and wines during your very own private workshop!
Dive taste buds-first into the pleasures of French gastronomy and get a taste of the good life the City of Light is famous for!
